The Hundreds S/S ‘23

In January of 2022, The Hundreds hit me up to contribute something for their Spring ‘23 collection. I’ve never had to design something a year out before, so I looked to things that are timeless.

I drew inspiration from the punk rock ethos that is woven throughout the brand’s DNA. A band that has stood the test of time is Operation Ivy. Their song “Knowledge” paraphrases the Socratic Paradox.

"The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing."

This meditation on intellectual humility felt right for The Hundreds, and I’m glad they felt the same way.
