Sig On Smith hit me up to create a space for their collaboration Western Hydrodynamic Research.

We had just days to concept and build- so I built a quick display that utilized WHR’s strong nautical imagery. A boat antenna was fastened to the wall and marine grade rope was tied with a sailors knot to display the pieces from the collaboration.

A central thematic focus of the collaboration were the vibrations, clicks, and melodies of a whales song, so I created a mix of hawaiian humpback whale sounds to play over the speakers for the duration of the pop- up.
